All-day radio for better days in Detroit
Radio + broadcast marathon = S.A.Y. Detroit RADIOTHON
Broadcast live for fifteen hours from The Somerset Collection in Troy, MI, the annual radiothon is now in its SIXTH year in 2017. The day’s entertainment brings together all parties—the people who benefit from these charities, famous folks who wish to call attention to them, and most importantly, people like you who wish to help. You can watch the live stream here, listen on WJR 760AM, or head over to www.mitchalbomradiothon.com to donate and the chance to bid on auctions, “purchase” autographed memorabilia or gift cards, and donate.
Since its first broadcast, the annual radiothons have raised over $3.6 million to help the poor, the homeless, families without homes, children without medical care, students hoping to reach the college of their dreams and veterans who have hit hard times. All funds raised benefit S.A.Y. (Super All Year) Detroit, an umbrella 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that funds programs like the S.A.Y. Detroit Family Health Clinic, the S.A.Y. Play Center, Working Homes/Working Families, the Dream Scholars, A Time to Help, and several other local charitable efforts who care for Detroit’s neediest and work towards a revitalized Detroit.
Hugh Jackman Dr. Phil, Lily Tomlin, Tim Allen, Jane Pauley, Billy Bob Thornton, Paul Stanley, Alice Cooper, Dax Shepard, Jeff Daniels, Dan Gilbert and Andre Drummond, and many more.
On-site appearances are expected to include Matthew Stafford, Henrik Zetterberg, Dave Barry, Mayor Mike Duggan, John Pizzarelli and Carmen Harlan.
100% to S.A.Y. Detroit!
Items will be made live as donation incentives and auctions throughout the day at www.mitchalbomradiothon.com.
